"MATH STAR'19", A National Level Inter Collegiate Competition on 30th August 2019. Dr. G Marimuthu, Associate Professor of Mathematics, A.V.V.M Sri Pushpam College, Poondi, Thanjavur was the resource person. 168 students from 18 colleges were actively participated. Holy Cross college, Trichy won the overall Championship.

2018-2019

CSIR Sponsored National Conference On "Recent Trends In Pure & Applied Mathematics" was conducted. The following members were the resource person.

2. Dr.W.Ritha, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Holy Cross College (Autonomous),Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu, handled a session on "Fuzzy Logic Application To Medical Diagnosis".
3. Dr.R.Srikanth, Associate Dean, Department of Mathematics, School of Arts, Science & Humanities, SASTRA University, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu handled a session on"Design and Analysis of Super Eliptic Curve For Public Key Crypto System".
4. Dr.Nirmala P Ratchagar, Professor, Department of Mathematics, Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu handled a session on "Trends In Mathematics Today".
5. Dr.A.Venkatesh, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, A.V.V.M. Sri Pushpam College, Poondi, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu handled a session on "Mathematical Modelling And its Applications".
6. Dr.A.TamilSelvan, Head, Department of Mathematics, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu handled a session on "Finite Difference Method For Singularity Perturbed Differential Equations".

MATH STAR:

MATH STAR-18 an intercollegiate competition was conducted by our department. Dr.G.Komahan, Head, Associate Professor Of Mathematics, A.V.V.M. Sri Pushpam (autonomous), Poondi, was the chief guest. Seven different events were held and 182 students from 19 colleges actively participated.
Auxilium College Arts and Science For Women, Regunathapuram won the overall championship.

2017-2018

National Conference "Mathematical Modeling and its Applications" was conducted by PG & Research department of mathematics.

Dr. Nirmala P Ratchagar, Professor, Department Of Mathematics, Annamalai University, Chithambaram, inaugurated the conference.

Dr. Sr.D.Victoria, Principal, presided over the function. Nearly 146 students presented their paper.
