About the Department

Department of Fashion Technology & Costume Designing was started in the year 2003. It is a growing Department which providing cutting edge education academic excellence and personal enrichment among students transforming them as well qualified, trained professionals and socially responsible citizens and mould them to acquire finer value systems in their professional and personal lives. The department offers BSc. MSc., One year University Diploma course/Certificate/Value Added/ Add-on courses offered in line with skill development and Entrepreneurship. We signed MoU with reputed Institution as well leading Organization.

Vision

Build a trendsetter in fashion designing, to conceptualize, design and develop fashion, to promote self-employment opportunities in rural and urban areas, to grow entrepreneurial skills through creative and innovative ideas that produce competent young women performers in current academia and technology.

Mission

• Provide a diverse array of career-focused undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in fashion, garment, and related technologies.
• Deliver high-quality education through experienced faculty members and cutting-edge laboratories, alongside other relevant resources.
• Provide tailored continuing education and entrepreneurship programs/courses, both formal and informal, to meet specific needs
• Promote collaboration between students, faculty members, national and international institutions, and industries to conduct applied research in apparel and fashion technology.
• Build a robust alumni network to facilitate the improvement of student in-plant training, internships, Placements, industrial projects, and consultancy endeavours.
