About the Department

The Department of History was started in 2014. This program is affiliated with Bharathidasan University, Thiruchirappalli. This program is interdisciplinary in nature and combines the understanding of areas such as political, religious, social, economic, culture, law, human resource development and tourism. The curriculum introduces students to historical methodology and the fundamentals of historical research and writing
