Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

2018 - 2019

On 30th October 2018, MOU was signed between Indian Academic Researchers Association and PG & Research Department of Management Studies to get experts’ guidance regarding projects of faculties and students and for conducting training programs and workshops.

Staff Achievements

BEST TEACHER AWARD (2018-19)

Dr.S.Gayathri, Assistant Professor & Vice Principal, got Best Teacher Award for her service in the field of Management Studies from Inner Wheel Club of Thanjavur Heritage City on 07th September 2018.

BEST FACULTY AWARD (2017-18)

Dr. G. Vadivalagan Professor, got CK. Prahalad Best Faculty Award for his service in the field of Management Studies from ASFASMIN’S (Association of self-financing Arts, science and Management colleges in Tamilnadu) on 25thSeptember 2017.

RESOURCE PERSON (2017-18)

Dr.N.R.Saravanan acted as the chair person for the technical session on "White Elephant" organized by Hall Mark Business School, Trichy on 26th January 2018

Dr. T.Sivakami acted as the chair person for the technical session on Youth Empowerment Program jointly organized by Leo Club and Lions Club, Thanjavur held on 30th January 2019.

Dr. S. Gayathri, Head of the Department, PG & Research Department of Management Studies acted as the resource person for the technical session on Problem and Prospects: Women Health Management in India. The seminar was conducted two day on 8th & 9th February 2019 at Rajah Serfoji Government College in Thanjavur.

Dr. A.Antonyraj, Assistant Professor, PG & Research Department of Management Studies acted as the resource person for the technical session on Problem and Prospects: Women Health Management in India, in which he rendered a speech on healthcare service. The seminar was conducted two day on 8th & 9th February 2019 at Rajah Serfoji Government College in Thanjavur.

Dr.R.Thangasundari Assistant Professor, PG & Research Department of Management Studies has published 2 papers in UGC Referred International journals in this academic year.

Student Achievements

2018-2019

PG & UG students of our department participated in BDU FEST 2018, Inter-Collegiate Cultural Convergence organized by Bharathidasan University on 28-10-2018, 29-10-2018 & 30-10-2018. D.Swarna Malika of III BBA won 4th Prize in Spot Photography. R.Dharani of III BBA, V.Priyanka and S.Sandhiya of I MBA won 5th Prize in Folk dance. S.Kaviya Priya of I BBA A won 4th Prize in Installation.

On August 7, 2018, Leo Club elected its office bearers. D.Swarna Malika of III BBA was elected as President and S.Sowndharya of III BBA was elected as Treasurer of Leo Club.

On 05th October 2018, 37 PG students of our Department participated in the National conference on Economic impact on Post Tsunami and Thane cyclone in Bay of Bengal held at Rajah Serfoji Government College, Thanjavur.

On 11.10.2018, PG & UG students of our department participated in PEBO18- National Level Inter Collegiate Meet organized by Idhaya College for Women, Kumbakonam. Charumathi.R, Priyadharshini.V, Elavarasi.R, Sujitha.R, Jothika.E, Shalini.P of II BBA won first prize in Mime.

Naveena.S and Fathima Hanana.M of II MBA won first prize in paper presentation. Abinaya.A, Rashman Parveen.S of II BBA won third prize in paper presentation. Thendral.B, Thalath Rana.J, Yugathi.R, Shamundeshwari.V of I BBA won first prize in Corporate show. Our students won overall Championship in this National Level Inter Collegiate Meet.

On 01.02.2019, Sengamala Thayaar Educational Trust Women College, Mannargudi conducted STET-BIZ-2K19 State Level Management Meet. J.Mehana Beevi and A.Abinaya of II BBA won 2nd Prize in Tagline writing. A.Abinaya, R.Elavarasi, R.Sujitha, E.Jothika of II BBA and M.Madhumitha of I BBA B won 2nd Prize in Mime

On 08.02.2019, Rabiammal Ahamed Maideen College for Women, Thiruvarur, conducted BIZROCK 2K19 Inter-Collegiate Management Meet. A.Abinaya and J.Mehana of II BBA won 1st Prize in Business Quiz. V.Shamundeeswari, J.Thalath Rana, B.Thendral, R.Yugathi of I BBA ‘B’ and S.Nithyashri and M.Dhivya of I BBA A won 2nd Prize in Corporate show. K.Bhuvaneswari and R.Gowsalya of I MBA and R.Charumathi, R.Elavarasi and R.Sujitha of II BBA won 2nd Prize in Treasure hunt.

On 18.02.2019, RDB Institute of Management, Papanasam, conducted LEGEND Inter-Collegiate Management Meet. Our students participated and won overall Runner-up. A.Abinaya and J.Mehana Beevi of II BBA won 2nd Prize in Business Quiz. R.Bhuvana Dharshini of I BBA A won 2nd Prize in Solo song. M.Mowniya of II BBA and P.Vaishnavi of I BBA B won 2nd Prize in Group Dance. R.Charumathi, R.Elavarasi, R.Sujitha, J.Pula Jolish, M.Adhiba of II BBA and K.Bhuvaneswari and R.Kowsalya of I MBA won 2nd Prize in Mime.
