About Study In India

The Study in India (SII) Programme is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, designed to promote India as a preferred destination for international higher education. The SII Portal serves as a one-stop platform for international students seeking admission to Indian Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs), facilitating course selection, application submission, admission processing, and student visa support. All foreign students intending to pursue higher education in India are required to register on the SII Portal and obtain a unique SII-ID for visa processing.
